It’s show time!!

Wanted to give you a peek of what else has been in the works around here.  Since the fall shopping season is in full swing, I have been working on some new product launches to feature at my shows coming up.  These couple of things are just a few of the items you will see if you shop at a show with us. 

First up, Fun Folios.  These will certainly make great teacher gifts, administrative gifts, a gift for dad and pretty much anyone who needs to write stuff down :)

Available in Black or Brown, you can design your own using our fab patterns, icons, frames and fonts. 

These come stocked with one letter sized legal pad inside, a slot for a pen and a business card.  Know any sales reps who might need these?  Thought so!

The second product that is up is the Sticky Holders!  These acrylic holders are decorated on the front & underneath flap and come with a pad of yellow sticky notes!  Easy to refill, easy on the eyes, easy on the checkbook!!  Price is $16 each.. paired with a pen, this set is $22!  More desktop pretties for ’ya!

Moving slowly!

Just a brief update on production…

Since the HUGE 50% off Sale in honor of reaching 500 “likes” on Facebook, things have been moving a little slower than usual around here.  Please understand that I have over 100 outstanding orders at the moment waiting to be filled.  I am filling as fast as I can.  All “special orders” have been placed as of 48 hours after the order was received so those items are in the hands of my contract factories.  I will be shipping them out as soon as they arrive!  Please be patient as I plug away at all of this.  SO GRATEFUL for everything :) 

With that said, I am going to have to put a cease to custom invitation requests right now.  This does not include emails/inquiries I have received thus far.  Those are fine.  Just going forward, I am stuck & am not able to take on any other designs.  I will post when my head is above water ;)

I announced a new product design last night on facebook.  Do you “like” on facebook?  If not, it’s a great place to find sales, product announcements, etc.  Get there!!

My family & I took a brief trip to the Caribe Resort in Orange Beach, AL.  What a fun place!  We had a blast!!

Happy end of summer, everyone :(  Hope you all had a wonderful one… our biggest bonus was a successful heart surgery for my girl!!  YAY!!!!  Finally after 8 long years, my baby girl is cured of her heart condition.  Praise the Lord!

& a little product plug… what a great gift this makes for that 6-12 year old boy… a Who Dat pillowcase & water bottle set.  Perfect!

Now for the pardon – I am swamped with orders that came in over the break.  Please be patient as I work hard at getting caught up! 

Order status, store closure

I have been working non-stop for the past two weeks trying to get all of these back to school orders printed, packed & shipped… thanks SOOO much for all the business :)  It’s been keeping me crazy busy & for that I am SOOO grateful!!!

All of the orders placed BEFORE July 28th have been printed, processed & shipped as of today.  All other orders will be processed after my store closure which ends on August 13th.  Gotta take care of some things here & then I will be back in full swing come August 13th!

Just a quick reminder!

Only a couple more days till I will be closed for a couple of weeks. Get those orders in ASAP so I can get them out to you! I will still be taking orders… BUT nothing will ship until the break.

Lots done this morning…

Which leads to this post!  I have a few very exciting new things to share with you today… Firstly, the website has been updated to reflect the same design as the new blog design

Secondly, I added the Mini Me Tabletop collection… I have been trying to add the Mini Me selections to more products but I’ve been a bit slow with it… sorry!

and Lastly (and most exciting!) I have made the site a little more “iPhone-friendly”.  Meaning, when you view the site on your iPhone, it will already be zoomed to where you can actually see the text.  It’s not perfect – I would have to host an entirely new site to get it to be totally iPhone compatible but consider it just a little “tweak” to what you were getting before.  This is what you’ll see when viewing in regular vertical format

It looks even better when viewed in the landscape position.

and the really neat part is, you can save the site as an icon on your iPhone home screen!  It’s so easy to do… See that little + (plus) sign in the image above?  Click that & this is what you will see…

Click “Add to Home Screen” & you will see this next:

You can type in whatever you want in the box but the default is “welcome to…”

Then you go to your home screen & see this!

Neat, huh?!  BTW, you can do this w/any website out there… this was new to me today!  Oh & I have no clue what half of these aps are… my kids go to town on this phone!!

So, there you have it… new stuff for today!

On another note I will be taking a brief pause in business coming up & wanted to let you all know ahead of time.  I will be closed from July 28th – August 13th in preparation for Emma Kate’s 2nd heart procedure as well as the start of school. 

I know it’s kind of a long break (2 1/2 weeks!) but I need this time to be there for her, to help get the kiddos ready for school AND get the fall/holiday designs & selections up & running!!  This is a good thing… LOTS of new stuff & designs are in the wings… can’t WAIT to share!!!!

There’s a chance – if I can cross off all my “to-do’s” which are infinitely long – I will reopen before the 13th.  I will still enable the shopping cart but orders will be delayed in shipping out until after the 13th.  If you need something during that time, please do email me… this iPhone has not allowed me to break away from work at all… So… that’s that!

Did it myself, blog makeover

My blog got a makeover today... what do you think? My blogging editing skills were not up to date until now! I think I will take a step away from the computer.. cross-eyed! Debating changing the site to reflect this look... too much pink & green? Not sure about it. Feedback/critique appreciated!!

Crazy, Busy Week!!

I wanted to post a little note from the trenches… WHEW! I didn’t realize this week would be as hectic as it has been. Coming off of two birthday parties this past Saturday & Sunday, I have had a crazy week… field trips, teacher conferences, First Communion, birthday party this weekend… I am exhausted! I am doing my best to catch up. Just wanted to let everyone know who hasn’t heard back from my emails. SORRY!!
