I just got this email in my inbox.  Each cube represents a teaspoonful.  Can you believe?  Great way to display what we’re putting into our bodies & the bodies of our children.  Lord knows I love my diet coke, coffee and other sugary treats but I have never seen this type of analogy & now it’s making my head spin… You?

On a lighter note, all notepads will now be offered in more than one size!  Check them out!!  These have been great back to school teacher gifts this year.  I sent an 8.5 x 11 pad for each of Emma Kate’s teachers paired with a pen… they LOVED them!  The patterned top pads are the most popular :)

I can do these with or without the text at the bottom.  They’re great to have on hand during the school year to send notes back & forth to the teachers…

Back to work!

My family & I took a brief trip to the Caribe Resort in Orange Beach, AL.  What a fun place!  We had a blast!!

Happy end of summer, everyone :(  Hope you all had a wonderful one… our biggest bonus was a successful heart surgery for my girl!!  YAY!!!!  Finally after 8 long years, my baby girl is cured of her heart condition.  Praise the Lord!

& a little product plug… what a great gift this makes for that 6-12 year old boy… a Who Dat pillowcase & water bottle set.  Perfect!

Now for the pardon – I am swamped with orders that came in over the break.  Please be patient as I work hard at getting caught up! 

Order status, store closure

I have been working non-stop for the past two weeks trying to get all of these back to school orders printed, packed & shipped… thanks SOOO much for all the business :)  It’s been keeping me crazy busy & for that I am SOOO grateful!!!

All of the orders placed BEFORE July 28th have been printed, processed & shipped as of today.  All other orders will be processed after my store closure which ends on August 13th.  Gotta take care of some things here & then I will be back in full swing come August 13th!

Am I nuts?

Okay since Emma Kate’s surgery was a HUGE success… I now have time to stay open a little longer before the kids head back to school!!!  So… if you are in the New Orleans area & want to come see the goodies up front & personal, you can do so at the Helen Brett show (a.k.a. “The Jewelry Show”) this Saturday, July 31st through Tuesday, August 3rd!  I am in booth 355 & will have Melissa & Doug toys for cash & carry as well as personalized goods for order taking only!  I will not be personalizing on site due to last minute preparations… Show hours are 10am till 6pm Sat, Sun & Mon & Tues 10am till 3pm.

I will have all of the new stuff there on display if you need to come get a peek!

Just a quick reminder!
